MARK FARINA:
Shortly after Mark befriended Derrick Carter in 1988 at a record store in Chicago, his passion for House music, and sharing it with the world, exploded. While exploring his love for the purist forms of House Music, Mark developed his trademark style: Mushroom Jazz; acid jazz infused with the West Coast’s jazzy, organic productions combined with urban beats. Fans embraced Mark’s downtempo style so much that he started a weekly Mushroom Jazz club night in San Francisco with Patty Ryan. In 3 short years, the club established a fanatical, cult-like following for Farina and the Mushroom Jazz sound. When the doors closed, Farina continued the tradition by releasing a series of Cds on OM Records: simply titled, "Mushroom Jazz." Since then, Mark has been traveling the globe performing 100s of shows, to over one million club goers, every year. Some of these sets have been known to last up to 8 hours. Mark’s chunky-funky underground house style continually turns the heads of tastemakers worldwide, drawing him not only new fans, but landing him on the Top DJs in the World lists by URB, MUZIK and BPM Magazines.
MIGUEL MIGS:
Miguel Migs stands at the forefront of electronic music's soulful realm. Whether tackling his original productions or remixes, he achieves an organic-soulful sound by combining the best of both the electronic music world and live instrumentation.
For many years, Miguel's productions have been included on countless compilations and his records have slid into the crates of top DJs across the globe. His music has also landed on numerous TV Shows, including Six Feet Under, Sex in the City, and MTV's Road Rules and Real World.
Contrary to many of his club-centric DJ/producer peers, Miguel is not always concerned with the potential dance floor appeal of his soulful tracks. "It's music you can enjoy and listen to at home, in the club, or anywhere. Not necessarily just to rock the dance floor." explains the Northern California native, who grew up with a true love of reggae, soul, classic rock, jazz, hip-hop and just about everything else.
DJ SPIDER:
Whether you're rocking out to his set at an LA hotspot or listening to one of his mixtapes, the unique style of DJ Spider is apparent. Though his roots stem from a deep love for hip-hop, Spider has cultivated his sound to include an eclectic mix of cuts that transgress nearly every genre of music. No matter what kind of crowd, he is guaranteed to rock the party playing hip hop, soul, funk, reggae, electro, house, bmore, pop, rock and more. Currently Spider is one of the most in demand DJ's in the US for all types of events. He has toured nightclubs in Japan, Europe and Canada as well as constantly being on tour the US. Current and past residencies include some of the most highly acclaimed venues in the country, such as Pure in Las Vegas, countless clubs in Chicago (Enclave, Bon V, Manor, Reserve), Mur.Mur at Borgata in Atlantic City, and Stingaree in San Diego to name a few. Though he frequently travels the globe, you can still catch him in his hometown at Hollywood hotspots such as Winstons, Crown Bar, Cocodeville, LAX, Foxtail, Hyde, Ecco, Area, The Standard, Les Deux, Kress, and more.
