Wow what a party!! Saturday August 18th was a big night for us, our Back2Basics 3 year anniversary with Mark Farina at supperclub.  On that same night I got an offer to have UK underground legend DJ Harvey back in SF, and an underground afterparty was the way to go.  Since the night was going to be soooo big I thought to myself, "Self, lets go bigger" and a double header was born.  Both parties were off da hook, attention to the dj and the music but they were also so different in many ways.  supperclub was sexy and hot, while Deep Blue was dark and trippy.  Check out the pictures below...

Pictures of Steve Lawler performing in the Lights Out US tour Friday July 6th at Ruby Skye followed by a 3hr private showing at Slide.

Wow this party was off the charts, what a memorable night filled we fun, excitment, latenight partyin and great music.  We had so much fun we stayed all the way till the end 5am and thats not something that I do very often. Steve Lawler was great, he rocked it and had the crowd jumin. The highlight of the night was the private VIP afterparty at Slide. I started out DJing at 2am at Slide, starting with a forward thinking, deep style of minimal and tech house fused with a proggy melody and spacey sounds.  At 2am we started with 30 people and ended up with 200 right before Lawler came on. Lawler was one of those big DJs that I look up to. A very humble and nice guy that respects other musicians, and plays creative and forward thinking music. It was the 2nd time I actually hung out with Lawler and actually got to talk, one of the few cool big DJs around.

Pictures of Hot Cabana w/Marques Wyatt & D:Fuse

It was a cold clowdy Sunday on a 3-day weekend, the worst possible conditions for a pool party.  At first we were a nervous reck, but by 5pm the music was jumpin and the crowd was dancing to stay warm.  Marques wyatt and D:Fuse made it an incredible party, taking the music the whole nother level.  At one time I looked over and saw the highlight of the day; Michael Anthony was on the decks, Sen-Sei was on the keyboards adding some live melody to the mix, and D:Fuse was on the drums bringing in the percussions...wow what a performance.  All in all it turned out to be a great party with a great crowd and an unforgetable day...Check out the pics below.
