Every week I listen to about 5-10 mixes, from amateurs, to the hottest up and comers, to world famous super star DJs. If you want to be a great DJ you have to do your research and see what everyone else is doing. My mix of the week is the best of the best of all the mixes that I have listened to lately. This weeks mix is a live mix of Joris Voorn at Awakenings Festival in Amsterdamn. Joris Voorn career is starting to take off and fast too. His last compilation on the Balance 014 on the EQ series was known as one of the best compilations of 2009. To top it off, Joris had an exclusive residency at one of the best parties in Ibiza this summer, We Love... at club Space. This mix is top notch, techno with a very housey and funky groove. You can tell from the incredible energy from the mix that Joris knows how to make the crowd go nuts.
