"Deep, Melodic and Spacey Tech-House"
I was speaking with another DJ the other day and he said, "how come you don't put the tracks you play at clubs on your mixes?" Its becuase I dont like to bang it out all the time, plus I have many great tracks that I cant play at the club because they are too deep or at a low tempo. This mix is about getting deep into thought, the melody is suppposed to take you some where. I wanted it to be trippy and spacey while having a groove. The last Strictly Underground Vol.1 was a great hit, over 400 downloads. Its an honor to have 400 people listen to your mix. So I had to make sure Vol.2 was going to live up to the hype of Vol.1 and i think it does. Basically the tracks I would play earlier into the night at one of my undergrounds. Starts out Deep and chunky, borderline minimal but its arguably still tech house. Then it gets a little dark, then it starts to get a little funky and melodic. At the end it goes into dark minimal. Dont forget this is deep underground music, so dont expect to hear my big room RubySkye set or something.
